RED is Peter Horsfall's tribute to the legendary New Orleans trumpeter and singer Henry "Red" Allen.

The EP features a number of original compositions, crafted around the audio of Red's 1966 interview with the jazz writer Nat Hentoff. Peter also includes three beautiful songs sourced from deep within Henry "Red" Allen's back catalogue.

Peter is joined on this record by the supreme talents of Alex Bryson (piano), Matt Skelton (drums) and Adam King (bass). The ensemble is bound together by an unhealthy obsession with the swing groove and this recording represents the fruits of many years playing tunes together on the London jazz scene.
